Spring Blitz - Part 1: Easter

YIKES!  It's been right at two months since my last posting, so let's get right to it!

April 16, 2011
My cousins graciously host the family every year for a huge egg hunt at their house.  First the adults hide the eggs, and please note, we use the term adult loosely in my family, as most of us have no plans to grow up!  To support this statement, I enter into evidence this photo . . .
Here's my uncle eating the candy out of the eggs he's supposed to be hiding!  I revoked his egg hiding privileges with haste!

As egg hiding was under way, we had all of our little egg hunters gathered in one room trying to tame their ever growing excitement long enough to get a good photo.

Aaron grasped the whole egg hunting thing much better this year, and he was so proud of his findings!

After the hunt, the kiddos had to gather and compare the spoils of their hunt!

Of course, egg hunting is exhausting business!

But there's nothing like a good popsicle perk everyone back up again . . .

And the fun continued into the afternoon . . .

And just in case anyone lost a baby . . .  Well, just look for Memaw!

Then Aaron had his egg hunt at preschool.  He arrived at school quite ready!

On Easter morning, Aaron found the following basket . . .
Of course Ron thought there was more Play-Doh in that basket that any one little boy could possibly need, but Aaron loved it!

Then off we went to Church, followed by lunch and another egg hunt at Memaw's house, where there was more egg hunting and posing for pictures . . .

And that wraps up Easter!  Please stay tuned for "Spring Blitz - Part 2:  A Visit from Pepaw"
