Just a Little Christmas on Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving day with family, having lunch with my aunt and uncle, where Aaron played with his cousins in true little boy fashion . . . in the dirt!

As darkness came upon us, we set off to enjoy our first light show of the season at Lewis Lights.  Nothing like a bunch of cousins hanging out together!

The day after Thanksgiving, I put up my first full sized Christmas tree.  Why yes, we did have the windows open that day.  The weather was spectacular!

Linzey spent the day with us, and then McKayla came over that evening.  By the time bedtime came, Aaron was tuckered out!

Aaron couldn't wait to wake the girls on Saturday morning!

Then the three of them got busy painting homemade ornaments I had baked the night before.

And I think that about wraps Thanksgiving weekend!

Art Festival

Early November brought the Peter Anderson Art Festival.  If you're hoping for pictures of the art, you're in for quite the disappointment, though I found the show most fascinating.

What you will find, however, are some great pictures of some really cute boys having fun in the kids zone.

Aaron & his cousin, David, tackle the fun slide

Aaron can't let David take the Mustang out alone!

Aaron then wrapped the day by meeting
Captain America, Spiderman, and Batman
all at once!

Spiderman & Fall Festival

It's not often one gets to go out with Spiderman, but that's just what I did the night of Fall Festival at First Baptist Biloxi.  We were invited by a friend and quite enjoyed ourselves!

Ready for some candy!

Spiderman might can swing from building to building,
but he can also never pass up the chance for a horseback ride!

What?  You didn't know Spiderman also loved turtles and was a member of the fire department?

Activities not featured in pictures?

Aaron was quite the champ at the bean bag toss, and the soccer ball kick!  He also really enjoyed the "train" ride, and tried apple cider for the first time.

Corn Maze, Characters, & Costumes

Another favorite fall activity?  Corn maze!

The last Saturday in October is character day at Seward Farms.  Costumes, candy, and characters?  Win, win, and win!  I, along with my mom, and my sister, Ellie, took Aaron and four of his cousins, Linzey, Carter, McKayla, and Cadence.

First we hit the maze.  The kids had a grand time leading the pack, looking for the next number associated with our navigation clues.  They only got us lost once!

Ever see a culvert hung as a swing?  The kiddos had a grand time crawling through!

And then there was a swing set with a slide . . .

Bouncy pillow anyone?  This was definitely a favorite!

And then they were off to ride the cow train!

My mom took one picture of the rest of us with the giant hay man!

The kiddos all tried bouncing on the bouncy horses.  That was pretty much a disaster!  LOL

The kids got to meed Mickey, Minnie, and Elmo . . .

They were quite excited to see Elmo!

Then is was off to the bumpy slide!

There was also a fabulous culvert slide, but all of the pics turned out too dark to bother sharing.

As we were leaving, we saw one last princess, Snow White!
